We don’t want to keep going on about it, but we are pretty excited about mifold. The ‘grab & go’ booster seat was launched in June and we were lucky enough to work on the brand’s positioning, name and identity as well as creating a Pitch Pack to help secure funding.
Mifold is described as ‘the most innovative development in car seats in decades’ and we wholeheartedly agree. Gone are the days of bulky booster seats and whinging children; mifold has radically redefined car child safety. And evidently we aren’t the only ones that are excited – the company’s crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo has surpassed it’s original goal of $40,000 by 993%! With 8 days left to go they have reached an astonishing $397,294 – with thousands of fans desperate to get their hands on the product.
The phenomenal success of mifold proves both the force of crowdfunding platforms as well as the power of a single, great idea. It also got us thinking about other incredibly innovative products for kids that have been making some noise on funding websites.
