I hope you had a wonderful festive season and are ready to roar into 2018!

Given the time of year, it seems only right to give you a roundup of the best bits of 2017 which proved to be an exhilarating ride!  Let me expand….

In the first quarter of 2017, less than a year since we first began delivering mifold boosters, we reached over 200,000 mifold boosters sold.  We had 50 different permutations of packaging specifically designed for our many growing markets around the world.

Matt joined us as VP Sales for North America bringing the number in the team to 9.

This time last year we smashed an enormous hole in our office wall in order to extend and double the size of our office. Now we are completely filling the office and are running out of cupboard space again. The office has grown, the team has grown and mifold sales have grown exponentially!  We are only half way through the year and already we are ahead of our annual sales target! This time last year we had only just begun shipping our first mifold boosters.

Greetings from mifold on a sunny February morning! So where are we at?  I am pleased to report that the total number of mifold units sold to date exceeds 200,000 and whilst we are no longer able to publicise our sales figures, I can excitedly tell you that it looks like we will double our sales in 2017. As an illustration of our growth, remarkably mifold now has 50 different permutations of packaging to suit its growing list of markets.

Seasons Greetings!  I was surprised to see that I have now been writing miblog (the mifold blog) for a year – how can that be?!  It may be clichéd to ask where the time has gone, but it has really zoomed past.

Whist deciding what to tell you this month, I read over my previous blogs and I would like to modestly say that mifold has had a pretty phenomenal year.  This time last year we were not even in production!

October has passed by and I can happily report a continued increase in mifold sales.  We have now delivered more than 60,000 orders internationally and are excited to say that we have delivered ALL orders made before the beginning of this month.  This represents in excess of $2.5M in sales and a major logistical achievement.  Kudos to Robert our COO.

The entire team has been and has safely returned from the Kind and Jugend trade show in Cologne which is the leading international trade fair for children, toddler and baby equipment.  This was the single most important event of the mifold year. The exhibition spans 100,000 square metres, has over 1000 exhibitors and more than 20,000 trade visitors over the course of 4 days.

Well hello – here we are at the end of August.  The most exciting thing to report is that with EU regulatory approval, we have finally been able to deliver mifold booster seats to the entire world!  45,000 have made their way by ship, road and air to the US, Europe, South America, Africa and Asia where they have been received most favourably. In fact, mifold booster seats are now being used by children in 136 different countries – we think that that is quite an achievement in the space of 13 months when our campaign began!
