There are times when you come across a product and you think, that could make my life easier! It’s kind of like an ah-ha moment. I had one of those when I recently saw a video in my Facebook feed for the mifold Grab-and-Go Booster seat. I was in utter amazement at the size and how portable the booster seat was.
With four kids, three of which are still in car seats and booster seats, I knew I wanted to try it. Shuffling car seats and even lugging a big booster seat around can be cumbersome. That can be especially true when you are also trying to wrangle children. I would rather drive everywhere myself than have to move all the seats around, I’m not exaggerating. While my youngest two don’t go places without me or my husband often, my two older children do.

Addie is eight, but petite and hauling her booster seat around can prove to be a struggle for her. That is why I was so excited to see the mifold Grab-and-Go Booster seat. When they say compact, they mean it! It actually fits easier into a bag for easy portability and is no struggle for her to move herself. But how can that work? How does it work?
Traditional booster seats are used to raise a child up in the seat so that the shoulder belt sits on them properly at the shoulder level. The mifold is designed differently. It doesn’t lift the child up in the seat, it has an adjustable attachment to hold the seat belt securely at their shoulder height. This allows the seat to be so compact, yet safe.
The bottom platform they sit on is adjustable so it can be widened for your little one to sit on it. There is an adjustable strap that comes up behind the back of the mifold seat that buckles onto the shoulder belt. It is easy to adjust so that it seats just at the shoulders. And just like that it is attached, and you are ready to go.
The mifold Grab-and-Go Booster seat is a game changer!
It was the first booster seat that was specifically designed for the on-the-go parents. It is made for children ages four and older who weigh between 40-100 pounds and are 40″ – 57″.
If you travel, have children that require booster seats and are often with others, the mifold is the way to go. It can easily be packed for travel, you can sit three children in a row and can be packed into nearly any bag with ease.
Just a note: It is not made to be used with just a lap belt, so ensure that the vehicle you will be using it with has shoulder straps.
I am beyond excited that we found the mifold booster seat and will be getting another. It is so easy to use and really makes life easier being on-the-go.
